Dr John Tadross is a Consultant in Histopathology and Solid Tumour Molecular Pathology at Cambridge University Hospitals, and Molecular Pathology Clinical Lead for the East Genomics Laboratory Hub. He combines tumour morphology with genomic testing to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. He led the multidisciplinary programme that developed and implemented a room-temperature pathway for solid tumour whole genome sequencing, widening access across the East of England while reducing reliance on freezers, dry ice and urgent transport. The work received the Royal College of Pathologists' 2026 Team Award for Sustainability. He is also an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Cambridge.
