
Kerrie Woods
Kerrie has delivered large-scale transformation programmes in clinical informatics for over 15 years. With expertise in programme, project and IT service management as well as research data governance, she has established new capability for a range of initiatives within the NHS and beyond, including the 100,000 Genomes Project, NIHR DeNDRoN, the NIHR Health Informatics Collaborative and the National Consortium for Intelligent Medical Imaging. As Director for R&D Clinical Informatics at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Kerrie oversees the Trust’s clinical data warehouse for research. She is also an associate director for the University of EPSRC Oxford Centre for Doctoral Training in Health Data Science.
Kerrie is the Director for the Thames Valley and Surrey Secure Data Environment (TVS SDE), which is a secure platform for the re-use of routinely collected NHS data for approved purposes. She chairs the national SDE network working group on IG and ethics and the network-wide Validation Committee.
Kerrie was a finalist for the Woman of the Year award at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2024.
