Laura Jardine

Dr Laura Jardine is a Clinician Scientist specialising in Haemato-Oncology, with a focus on blood and lymphoid cancers. Her research aims to understand the biology of cancers that resist conventional treatments or relapse following therapy. Her team combines multi-omics approaches, often analysing multiple molecular layers simultaneously within individual cancer cells and repeatedly across treatment timepoints. This work seeks to identify high-risk features earlier in the disease course and uncover new therapeutic approaches for targeting the cells and pathways that drive treatment resistance and relapse. Dr Jardine holds a PhD in Transplant Immunology from Newcastle University and trained in Medicine at the University of Cambridge, with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University.
