Dr Mayuri Basnet is a Consultant Histopathologist with a sub-specialty interest in lung cancer. She works at the Salford Royal Care Organisation, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester, UK. She is the lead pathologist for lung cancer in the department, reporting ALK immunohistochemistry for lung cancer. She is an active member of the Greater Manchester Lung Pathway Board, and has been involved in various lung cancer pathway projects at a regional level to improve the molecular pathway in lung cancer.
