Parinaz Mehdipour
Dr. Parinaz Mehdipour is a cancer biologist with a longstanding focus on epigenetic dysregulation and its role in cancer development and therapy. She earned her PhD in 2016 from the University of Milan, in collaboration with the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM), where she investigated molecular mechanisms driving cancer epigenetics. She then pursued postdoctoral research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network (UHN), in Toronto, where she studied the epigenetic regulation of repeat elements.
In October 2021, Dr. Mehdipour joined the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research at the University of Oxford, where she leads an independent research programme exploring epigenetic and epitranscriptomic mechanisms and therapeutic vulnerabilities in cancer.
