The Mitchison group aims to understand the proteins responsible for building and maintaining ciliary functions in human health and disease. Our research is focussed on cell biological understanding of cilia disorders, understanding the clinical outcomes arising from different genetic mutations, and translating our lab research to the bedside by development of novel genetic therapies.
