Gi Fay Mok

University of East Anglia
Dr Geoff Mok is a cell and developmental biologist currently a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at the University of East Anglia and a research Group Leader within the BioMedical Research Centre on the Norwich Research Park.
His lab’s research focuses on how the cardiovascular system – such as the heart, blood and blood vessels – emerge during early embryonic development. By combining classical embryology with modern genomics, including single-cell multi-omics, his team investigates the molecular and mechanical signals that guide blood-forming progenitors stem cells.
