Mrinal Joshi is a Research Assistant in the Skene Lab at the UK Dementia Research Institute, working at the intersection of neurogenomics, molecular biology and emerging technologies in bioscience. They hold an MSc in Genes, Drugs and Stem Cells from Imperial College London, specialising in Regenerative Medicine, and a BSc in Molecular Genetics from King’s College London.
Their research experience spans neurogenomics, stem cell biology, immunology and cancer proteomics, alongside expertise in bioinformatics, machine learning and AI for bioscience. They are particularly interested in how AI and high-throughput technologies can transform biomedical research and accelerate the development of new approaches to human health.
