Nick Hickson
Scientific Education and Training Lead,
South East Genomic Laboratory Hub / Synnovis
Dr Nicholas Hickson is the Education and Training Lead for the South East Genomic Laboratory Hub (SEGLH) and Synnovis Genomics. He completed a PhD in Human Genetics in 2009 and graduated from the National Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Genomics in 2012. He also works as an honorary lecturer at The University of Manchester, actively contributing to the academic element of the National STP in Cancer Genomics.
Nick is passionate about Genomics Education and as an experienced Clinical Scientist in Genomics strives to promote relevant career pathways into this discipline and ensure high quality training is provided.
