Phil Lang is Placements Coordinator at the University of York, mostly supporting students and employers in the Biosciences. Phil leads on the development and delivery of work-based and work-related learning initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Phil has held key roles across leading Russell Group institutions including the UCL Institute of Education, the University of Leeds, and the University of York.
Having lived in Canada, Australia and Japan, Phil brings an international perspective to his work and is committed to fostering opportunities that broaden students’ horizons both academically and culturally. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in sport, cinema and podcasting.
