Sam Behjati

Group Leader, Wellcome Sanger Institute
Sam Behjati is Chair of the University Department of Paediatrics, Director of the Cambridge Children's Research Institute, and Honorary Consultant Paediatric Oncologist at Addenbrooke's, Cambridge. He trained in Oxford, London, and Cambridge, and has built a research effort into the origins of childhood cancer, using a variety of genomic approaches. On the clinical research side, he has been spearheading efforts to examine the utility of cancer whole genome sequencing in the clinic.
