Sarah is the Global Head of Business Development at 10x Genomics, where she is responsible for defining and executing the company’s global partnership strategy. Previously, she led the R&D Applications team, conducting research using single cell and spatial technologies to uncover novel molecular biomarkers with spatial relevance in cancer. Sarah has also directed several R&D programs, overseeing the development of the Single Cell Immune Profiling product line, Xenium Panels and Customization, and establishing the Catalyst program to support pilot Xenium studies.
Before joining 10x Genomics, Sarah led the development of single-cell analysis tools at Takara Bio USA. She received her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Oxford, her PhD from University College London, and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
