Gregory Slabaugh is Director of the Digital Environment Research Institute and Professor of Computer Vision and AI at Queen Mary University of London.
He also serves as Academic Turing Liaison at The Alan Turing Institute. His research experience spans academia and industry, with previous leadership roles at Huawei, Medicsight, and Siemens. His work focuses on developing advanced AI methods based on computer vision and medical image computing, including multimodal imaging-omics data fusion for diagnostic applications.
He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers, holds 49 granted patents, and has contributed to commercialised products in ultrasound imaging, computer-aided detection, and computational photography.
