Sneha Jha

Sneha Jha is an interdisciplinary researcher with a core background in computer science. Her research interests lie in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP), with a focus on healthcare and life sciences. She received her graduate training in ML/NLP at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States followed by several years of research experience with the clinical language understanding group at Nuance Research (now Microsoft), where she worked on projects in partnership with hospitals across the US. 

Most recently, she conducted her doctoral research at Imperial College London under joint supervision from the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Imperial NHS Trust. In addition to her primary research positions, she has been a visiting researcher in groups based in the US and Europe and also brings hands-on software development and engineering skills from earlier professional experience.
