Sophia Varadkar

Sophia Varadkar is Chief Medical Officer and a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Sophia completed her undergraduate degree as a Gold Medallist at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and her postgraduate medical training in Dublin and London. She has a PhD and is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, London.
Sophia was previously Co-Medical Director of the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service a member of the NHS Genomics Ethics, Equity and Legal Advisory Group.
