Dr . Sowmiya Moorthie is a Senior Strategic Evidence Manager in the Evidence and Implementation Department at Cancer Research UK, where she leads work to ensure evidence informed policy and practice. This is through generating and triangulating insight through research and evaluation across the cancer care pathway. In addition, her team carries out analysis that informs how current cancer pathways can be optimised and should adapt to incorporate emerging findings from research. Previously, Sowmiya has worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, focusing on applied population health and care research and at the PHG Foundation as a senior policy analyst.
