Steven Conlan
Steve Conlan FRSB is Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology at Swansea University Medical School, with over 25 years of experience in biomedical research and higher education. His research focuses on advanced therapeutics—including antibody-drug conjugates, exosomes, and nanoparticle delivery systems—and the use of functional genomics to understand disease.
Prof Conlan holds leadership roles in national precision medicine programmes, serving as Programme Board Member and Chair of the Research & Innovation Group for Advanced Therapies Wales and Genomics Partnership Wales, and is a member of the CReSt cancer research strategy delivery group. He was Chair of the British Society of Nanomedicine(2021–2025) and Co-Vice Chair of the European Technology Platform – Nanomedicine (2021–2025).
