Sunny Sharma is the Founding Product Marketing Manager for HPC and AI at Fovus, where he works closely with AWS to help genomics, bioinformatics, and biotech teams run large scale scientific compute on a serverless, cloud native HPC platform. His focus is on enabling reproducible, high performance execution of complex discovery workloads without the operational overhead of traditional clusters.
Sunny leads benchmarking and system level evaluations for key life sciences workloads, including molecular dynamics with OpenMM, protein structure prediction with AlphaFold, and emerging AI driven simulation frameworks such as Boltz. His work has demonstrated up to 10x improvements in performance and cost efficiency compared to static cloud and on premise HPC approaches.
He partners directly with research teams to optimize Nextflow pipelines, AI training and inference jobs, and simulation driven discovery workflows. Sunny holds an engineering degree from the University of Delhi and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
