Thomas Beaney

Tom is a Postdoctoral Clinical Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health, Imperial and a General Practitioner in Northwest London.
His research focuses on Multiple Long-Term Conditions, cardiometabolic disease and the use of machine learning approaches to inform personalised care. During his PhD, Tom developed deep learning methods to analyse electronic health records, capturing the sequence in which diseases develop and grouping similar conditions using network-based clustering.
He has conducted research in a diverse range of fields, across epidemiology, public health and health services research, including services evaluations of digital technologies.
