Natalie Twine
Senior Research Scientist,
CSIRO
Dr Natalie Twine is a Senior Research Scientist and leads the Genome Insights team within the Transformational Bioinformatics group at Australia’s national research agency, the CSIRO. She is a recognised expert in the domains of population-scale genomics, complex genetic disease, and precision medicine.
Her work is featured in high impact journals Cell Neuron (2018) and Nature Biotech (2023) and in media outlets such as Australian Financial Review (2019) and GenomeWeb (2020). Dr Twine is passionate about developing technology to impact health and understand disease and her work has been recognised through Telstra Health’s Brilliant Women in Digital Health award in 2022.
