Vageesh Jain

Vageesh is a Consultant in Public Health Medicine in the NHS South West London Integrated Care Board. In this position he provides leadership on regional clinical policies and uses data to help the healthcare system address population health needs.
He has expertise in clinical epidemiology, health economics, and public health, with a specialist interest in quasi-experimental methods for evaluation. He was a 2023-24 Harkness Fellow, based in the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, researching gun violence in the U.S. He has previously worked in the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, UK Health Security Agency, local government, academia, and the NHS. He is a visiting senior lecturer at King’s College London and a member of a NICE technology Appraisal Committee.
