Clinical Innovation Lead , University of Manchester

Videha is a clinical academic and health innovator focused on making genomics part of everyday care. He leads Clinical Innovation at the at the University of Manchester, working across the NHS to design and implement digital and data-led genomic services. 

Originally trained as a surgeon, Videha completed his PhD in Health Informatics from Manchester and now works at the intersection of medicine, technology and design. He has held national roles within NHS England and is an established leader in interoperability, data standards and clinical decision support systems. 

He’s passionate about user-centred design, building trustworthy digital services, and making sure genomic innovation works equitably for patients and clinicians.
