Here we demonstrate, for the first time, successful automation of both workflows on the SPT Labtech firefly+®, an all-in-one benchtop platform that combines liquid handling and process modules into a single instrument.
 

Automated libraries are comparable to manual preparation in yield and fragment size (300 to 400 bp), with excellent uniformity across 96 samples. Processing 96 samples simultaneously delivers approximately a 6-fold throughput increase over manual methods, while reducing RSI risk from repetitive pipetting.
